Where is your agency located?

We are based out of our in-home office in Menasha. M.R. CARES, Inc. serves clients in Neenah, Menasha, and the Wausau area. Our programs are private homes located within the community. You can contact Matthew or Rick for more information about a specific program or the types of services we are able to provide.

What types of individuals work for M.R. CARES, Inc.?

We hire qualified caring individuals who express a strong desire to work with individuals who are disabled. M.R. CARES, Inc. seeks out employees that see caregiving as a career and can't imagine themselves doing anything else. Many of our employees are PCW or CNA certified to assist with personal cares and activities of daily living. Individuals not previously certified may become so while working for M.R. CARES, Inc.

What types of clients does M.R. CARES, Inc. serve?

M.R. CARES, Inc. serves individuals with all types of developmental and physical disabilities. We feel it is our role to assist in whatever aspect is deemed necessary so that our clients can live as independently as possible and make as many choices for their own care and quality of life. We will educate and train our staff to respect the diagnosis, but also understand that everyone is unique in their care and seek to create a service plan that is specific to the individual.

How is M.R. CARES, Inc. connected to the community?

M.R. CARES, Inc. takes a pro-active role in keeping out clients connected to their local community. In addition to serving clients in private residences within their community, we furnish each program with a company vehicle so that outings are never a problem. Clients may participate in grocery shopping, dining out at area restaurants, and activities of their choice with staff support. Assistance with public transportation can also be provided. We pride ourselves on finding creative and fun activities for participants with varying needs and interests. M.R. CARES, Inc. provides a free YMCA membership for all of our clients and we also have a well-developed relationship with the ARC of the Fox Cities. Special Olympics sports, camp, dances, cooking and relationship building classes, craft classes, and community events are just some of the activities our clients can choose to participate in through the ARC.
