Dear Summer,
We hardly knew you. We wish you could have stayed longer. All that tumultuous rollercoaster of unseasonal temperatures and rain sure made us wonder what happened to your effervescent, "fun in the sun" attitude this year!
August came and went and September rolled in nonchalantly with more of a taste of Fall for us. Our September was quite eventful and a great closer to your season that the guys here at the house enjoy so much.
The Eve of Destruction's figure-8 bus races (featuring 'Bus Lightyear'!), trailer races, fireworks and Green Mamba rocket car were this year's biggest highlights and biggest hits for the guys here at Bell Street. But... where was the infamous, car hungry, flame-spewing Megasaurus?
Attached to this letter is a photo of some of the action for you.
With much gratitude for the fun times you have allowed us to have, we look to Fall and the impending close of the year. What a time it has been up to this point. Can't wait to see you next year!
Sincerely,
-Bell Street

Chicago Trip: The Gino's Experience!
On day two of the Chicago Trip, we collectively ventured to Superior St. in Chicago to go to Gino's East. Gino's is
nationally known for it's deep dish pizza, atmosphere and a place by which a large list of celebrities (movie and TV stars
and even political figures) have stopped by much as the autographed photos blanketting the walls will attest. To add to the
noteriety of Gino's, Adam Richman of Travel Channel's Man Vs. Food had made a past visit during his Chicago tour which was
filmed for an episode of the show.
A great place of character offering a little something for everyone. "It's worth the wait." is one of their mottos, but as
far as quality to the pizza lover is concerned, well... you just have to try it. That's all we can really say.
It was a great opportunity for everyone to take some time and socialize after the activities of the trip the previous day
and the afternoon's Navy Pier Boat tour shortly beforehand. What a memorable way to conclude a Chicago Trip. :)

Some

residents from Bell and the Plex spent the first day in Chicago at Six Flags and it was quite a blast. With no
shortage of rides to choose from and much to see, we were quite busy throught the course of our day there.
Rollercoasters, water raft and flume rides, double-decker carousel Sky Trek Tower, Gotham City Rail, spinning rides (such
as triple play and the orbit) were some of what we had ridden. Following dinner and outside of Johnny Rockets, the Looney
Tunes Dance Off was going on and we spent some time watching the amusing antics of Daffy, Tweety, Sylvester, Lola before
hitting more rides to top off our evening.
We got a lot of great pictures as well from various ends of the park and great panoramic shots from the top of Sky Trek
Tower. The Batmobile and pictures with Porky Pig were amongst some of the highlights. We've only gotten halfway at this
point in processing what pictures we took in total from the trip to post up on the house's photobucket account, so there'll
be more to share with everyone soon.
All in all it was a great experience that left us quite tired once we returned to the hotel following the park close at 8p.

Our Chicago trip was a blast for all who joined us this year. Our participants enjoyed 2 beautiful days of great fun and great food. 6-flags, the Lincoln Park Zoo, Navy Pier, and an awesome Chicago River boat tour are among some of the many highlights.
Here is Chris having a blast at the Tall Ships sail-in/pirate festival on the Pier! Arrggh matey!

During the time Extreme Makeover was in town, Jim and Tom had the opportunity to see the house being built and met a new friend who is a fireman (Ken Voss). He was very kind and allowed the both of them to tour the fire truck and sit in the front seats. They both seemed to have a blast. Tom and Jim seemed to really enjoy the sticker and magnet the Ken gave them. Jim also seemed to appreciate that he attempted to communicate in sign language with him.

Hopefully the start of an annual multi residence outing, we here at Bell paired up with The Plex to spend Saturday (August
14th) at High Cliff State Park to camp out. It was a great opportunity for everyone to get out and away from the hustle and
bustle of city living to enjoy time out in the wilderness amongst many things.
We started off by setting up our tents between the two sites we had reserved and went to the Chubby Seagull together for
dinner, followed by ice cream for those expressively interested. Proceeding dinner, we grouped up for fishing and swimming
and general park exploration as activity options for everyone to choose from. With regards to the fishing experience, we
unfortunately didn't catch anything, though we did catch a good time.
In returning to our sites, we spent time to relax and take in the great night we had available to us. It was cool and
breezey, so that cut down on any potential mosquito invasion. It was a perfect night to view the celestial landscape above
us as well-a star filled panaorama of wonderment to behold overhead! With our fires started and burning away, we met
together at the Bell St. site to roast marshmellows and put together s'mores. Following this, we turned in oiur respective
tents for the night.
The next day was crisp and cool, alluding to the Fall months ahead and we packed up our gear after colectively enjoying a
campfire breakfast of omelettes (thanks in regards to one of our staff's unique cooking ideas) and sausage and some other
breakfast fare. With our stomachs and vehicles full and campfires put out, we headed out to stop at home before treking out
for the resident/employee picnic held at Riverside Park in Waupaca. :)

The company party was GREAT! It was great to see many our friends and to have the chance to make some new ones. The weather was wonderful, and I don’t think we could have asked for a better day. Some of us went fishing, while others played games. Some of just hung out and chatted with everyone. The food was wonderful, hot beef and ham sandwiches or brats with all of the dishes everyone made. Thank you everyone who attended, hope to see everyone again soon.

This week was the Wisconsin Valley Fair, in Wausau. We have been at the fair everyday eating cheese curds, corn on the cob, deep fried onion rings, and elephant ears. With all the food we ate, we skiped the donut eating contest. We were able to see Lady Antebellum and Eric Church preform live, with over 10,000 community members. The rides were fun, the 4-H groups had animals galore, rabits, cows, pigs, sheep, and more.
Thankfully the weather held out, and made for an enjoyable experience, with this years fair behind us we are already talking about the fun we will have next year.

27 of us gathered at the Hotel Rome/Mt. Olympus theme park on July 13-14. Clients and staff from Neenah, Menasha, and Wausau all met up for 2 fun packed days. The weather was great for all kinds of water rides, roller coasters, go-karts, and attractions at the park. We enjoyed dining out in town as well as the Tommy Bartlett ski show and of course the original Wisconsin Dells Ducks!
A Great big THANK YOU to all our staff that helped make the trip a success for all of our clients!

The Saturday prior to our grill out (6/26), some of our guys headed off to Darboy (following an afternoon of exploration at High Cliff State Park) to check out the annual Chicken Fest event.
It was a fun opportunity for those who didn't go to Country USA and we spent time on rides, played some games and toured the grounds.
There was quite a cacophony going on at the main tent the time we were there, being that the chicken dance was underway. And of course, what festival would be complete without mascots of some nature? Everyone at Bell took some time to hang out with the Buffalo Wild Wings Mascot who was making his/her way around with an amusing demonstration of its Cluck Fu skills.
