We are excited to announce a fun new family event in the Valley - Things that GO!
Our first annual event will be on May 19th, 2012 at the Pierce Park in Appleton from 10 am to 2pm.
We are going to have many forms of transportation on site for people to explore and discover - anything from trucks to horses to police cars and riding mowers! ( This year's event will have school buses, bomb squad vehicles, jet skis, construction vehicles, a limo, garbage truck and MORE!) In addition, we will also have lots of family entertainment ...such as live music, a mime, face painting, fire safety demonstrations and much more! We will also have lunch available from great local vendors.
This event is lead by King's Daughters Charity Circle. We are a service group focused on fund-raising for many great organizations in our community, with specific focus on women and children. All of the proceeds from this event will benefit local charities, such as the Boys & Girls Club of Fox Valley and Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Fox Cities.
