I have been directly involved in the lives of adults with developmental disabilities for the past 15 years. When our company accepts a new client, I take that responsibility to heart. It takes time to get to know an individual and learn about what is important to them. I believe you have to know someone on a personal level so that you can create a service plan that reflects who they are.

I believe that everyone is entitled to dignity, respect, and privacy. When I train new employees I tell them to treat our clients like you would a brother or a sister. When we are out in the community having dinner someplace, it shouldn't look like "staff" taking out a disabled person. It should look like family.

I have been a helping professional for over 20 years. I believe in giving a voice to underserved populations, as well as promoting acceptance in both my personal and professional lives. It is with great enthusiasm that I commit to upholding the mission of this company and its clients.
